Our place — because here, you're among friends

We are Mikhail and Ekaterina. We come from Siberia, where hospitality isn't just a nice word. There, it's customary to set a generous table, to welcome people warmly, to value friendship, and to always find room for one more guest.

We love big tables, long conversations, good company, and that familiar food you start to miss especially when you live far from home. And we've always been drawn to new people, new acquaintances, and the stories that begin with a simple: "Come, sit with us."

When we found ourselves in China, we wanted to create exactly that kind of place here.

That's how NASHE MESTO came to be — a Russian and Georgian restaurant where you can come not just for borscht, khinkali or khachapuri. We wanted to create a place where friends meet, people get to know each other, families and groups gather, celebrations happen, and people simply spend a good evening together.

We especially wanted people from Russia and other CIS countries who live, work or travel in China to have a place they could come to when they miss familiar food, their native language, and good company.

And even if thousands of kilometers separate you from home, we want you to know:
